When you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, skill level, preferred lesson type, and whatever you tell us about your goals.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our analytics and advertising tools may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on the Site, and the site or ad that referred you.

We do not collect payment information on this Site. See Section 6.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to lesson inquiries and schedule lessons

  • Measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads
  • Meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working properly and to understand how it is used. These include:

  • Essential cookies that maintain your session and allow forms to function.
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which help us see how visitors move through the Site.
  • Advertising cookies from Google Ads and Meta (Facebook), which help us measure ad performance and show our ads to people who have visited the Site.
  • Embedded video cookies set by YouTube when a video on the Site is played.

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and adjust ad personalization through Google Ad Settings and Meta’s ad preferences.

The Site relies on a small number of outside services, each of which handles data under its own privacy policy:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these companies, and we encourage you to review their policies.

6. Book Purchases Through Amazon

The Awesome Guitar Series is sold through Amazon. We do not process orders, collect payment details, or ship products from this Site. When you follow a link to Amazon, your purchase and any information you provide is handled entirely by Amazon under Amazon’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment information.

7. Students Under 18

We teach students of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to submit personal information through this Site. If you are inquiring about lessons for a child, the contact form should be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

Information about a minor student is used only to schedule and provide lessons and to communicate with the parent or guardian. If you believe a child has submitted information to us without a parent’s involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Email and Phone Communications

When you submit the contact form, you are asking us to get in touch, and we will respond by email or phone about lessons. We may occasionally follow up about your inquiry or send studio updates. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any email or calling us, and we will honor that request.

9. Data Retention

We keep contact form submissions and student records for as long as needed to provide lessons and to maintain reasonable business records. Inquiries that do not lead to lessons are typically kept for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your information at any time.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Privacy laws vary from state to state, and some states give residents specific rights over their personal information. Regardless of where you live, we will honor requests to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
  • Request a copy of that information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications

We do not sell personal information, and we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including secure hosting and encrypted connections. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
