This volume is a complete, methodical study of every possible major and minor three-string chord shape and the scale patterns that exist around them — organized across four sections that move through every key, major and minor alike. Nothing is left out. By the time you work through it, the fretboard isn’t a collection of isolated positions anymore. It’s one connected map you can navigate with confidence.

The work begins with octave shapes and neck repetition studies, then moves into Root thru 5th chord and scale exercises — combining major and minor shapes, mini scales, and sets in the keys of C, A, D, B, E, F, C#, F# and beyond. I-IV-V major and i-iv-v minor chord progressions are introduced and studied in depth, with melodic exercises that reinforce the patterns and show how they repeat and vary across the neck.

The second half of the volume introduces Root thru 7th major and Root thru b7th minor studies — the deepest harmonic territory in the series so far — and ties it all together by showing you how to connect “The 4 Sets” across the full neck in every key covered.

Volume III sets the stage for everything in Volume IV. Work through it and the guitar stops being an instrument you play in pieces. It becomes something you understand whole.
